Pattison State Park's Big Falls
Ten miles of trails head in all directions. The must-do Big Falls Trail at half a mile
is a minor traipse to get a good photo of the big beast waterfall. Trailing the west side
of Interfalls Lake, formed by a Civilian Conservation Corps, or CCC, dam on the Black
River, is Little Falls Trail, a longer trail at three miles round-trip, but to decidedly smaller
falls—about 30 feet.
The southern region has spur trails to the backpack camping area.

Camping reservations (888/947-2257, wisconsinstateparks.reserveamerica.com , reser-
vation fee $10, non-residents $17 and up/night, daily admission $10) are a good idea.
