HISTORY
Minocqua too was once a Sawdust City full of timber cutters and sawhogs. Never quite a
risqué conglomeration of speakeasies and poker games, the city had enough fast money to
makethingsinteresting. Next,squattersinroughcampstothenorthwerethrownoutbythe
railroad, which set about platting Woodruff. Sister cities were born.
