Snowmobiles are everywhere you look in Eagle River.

vest cranberries from a bog.

Tours and tastings are free, and there are some fantastic local cranberry wines.
Three Lakes was voted the “Single Best Town” by Disney/Kraft Foods in a contest. The
little community's charming downtown and phenomenal outdoors floored the judges. In
fact, the Northernaire Resort (WIS 32, 715/546-2700) was among the first North Woods
resortsinWisconsin(evenBobHopeappearedhere).There'sacuteQuonset-hutartscenter
and two small museums, one of which features gas station memorabilia.
