Hartman Creek State Park is the best bet for camping. Reservations (888/947-2757, wis-
consinstateparks.reserveamerica.com , reservation fee $10, non-residents $17 and up/night,
daily admission $10) are advised.
Food
The Clear Water Harbor (N2757 Hwy. QQ, 715/258-2866, www.clearwaterharbor.com ,
from 10am daily, $3), known locally as the “Har Bar,” serves a menu varying from pub
grub sandwiches (try its famous 'shroomburger) to salads and a Friday fish fry. It's also
popular for summer entertainment, with a huge deck on the lakeside. It's open seasonally.
From here, you can do the Wally Walk up the road into King to the very local Wally's Bar
(N2702 County Rd. QQ, 715/258-2160), where you can get a Lunch Box shot: beer with
amaretto and orange juice. It's tasty if you can down it quickly.
