In-Depth Information
2020 Riverside office building overlooking the Fox River, almost directly across from the
railroad museum. You most certainly pay for your view.
Brewpubs
Green Bay's got a couple of lively brewpubs. Right downtown at the west end of the
Fox River Bridge along WIS 29 is Titletown Brewing Company (200 Dousman St., 920/
437-2337, 11am-11pm daily, $8-15), with an above-average menu of quite creative fare.
It's housed in a grand old depot with a soaring clock tower, making for great environs. To
be fair, virtually across the street, the Hinterland (920/438-8050, dinner daily, $8-18) has
great beer and phenomenal, way-above-pub-grub food—even caribou, wild boar and the
like. The food is not just for kicks; it's professionally well made.
Italian and Pizza

Victoria's (2610 Bay Settlement Rd., 920/468-8070, lunch Mon.-Sat., dinner daily, $5-15).
Let's not quibble over that stupid word “authenticity”—the portions are outrageously huge;
vegetarians also have good options.
The best pizza in town is at Jake's (1149 Main St., 920/432-8012, 4pm-midnight Mon.-
Sat., 2pm-midnight Sun., $4-6). You'll have to wait up to half an hour for a seat at times,
but it, too, is well worth the time.
INFORMATION
The Packer Country Tourism Office (1901S.OneidaSt.,920/494-9507or888/867-3342,

Two Rivers, Kewaunee, and Algoma.
The Green Bay Press-Gazette is Wisconsin's oldest newspaper, started in 1833 as the
Green Bay Intelligencer. It's a great source of local goings-on.
