small but clean value doubles, or upgrade through an array of larger rooms and apartments.
Cupola House, Egg Harbor
Plenty of self-contained islands of luxury surround Egg Harbor. You can get a whole
lot of amenities for $135 in the cheapest (cramped, but clean and well-appointed) room at
the Landing Resort (7741WIS42,920/868-3282, thelandingresort.com , from$135);from
thereuptothetoppriceof$250you'llfindadizzyingarrayofcondoapartments.Youcan't
beat a place that has been recommended by people for more than a generation. Ask for a
woodside view room.
You'll find award-winning rooms at Ashbrooke Suites (7942 Egg Harbor Rd., 920/
868-3113, www.ashbrooke.net , $155-249), with one- and two-bedroom suites done up in
myriad styles (say, French country or wicker). It's just up the road from the Lullabi Inn.
