ant, and the Top Deck lounge, originally a boathouse, is unsurpassed for after-dinner dan-
cing. Go north out of town and follow Highway Q toward the lake to Pine Drive.
The M Blacksmith Inn (800/769-8619, www.theblacksmithinn.com , $245-305) is the
kind of inn that's opulently historic (or rustic) with cynicism-killing sunset views, but not
frilly. It has absolutely fabulous service.
Food
Head to the Blue Ox (8051 WIS 57, 920/839-2771, lunch-close, from $5) for a ginormous
and delicious Paul Bunyan burger, the only thing to fill you up after a day on the water.
Harbor Fish Market and Grille (8080 WIS 57, 920/839-9999, breakfast, lunch, and
dinner daily, $6 and up) is a casually fine place in a 120-year-old building offering won-
drous atmosphere. You have to try the Wednesday, Friday, and weekend lobster boil (Fri.
only off-season). There's great custard and espresso next door. They also have a doggie
menu, so you can sit outside with your pooch and both enjoy a feast.
