lard Gallery, dedicated to two artists, Nan and George Pollard, the latter a portraitist who

Shopping in Kenosha is a sight in itself for the Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets (11211

Sat, 10am-7pm Sun.) near the junction of I-94 and WIS 165.
Downtown, Andrea's (2401 60th St., 262/657-7732, www.andreasgifts.com ) is a
fourth-generation (since 1911) shop selling all sorts of home items, cards, books—it's even
got a tobacco shop and old-timey soda fountain.
RECREATION
Sportishing
In most years, Kenosha sportfishing rates number one in the state in terms of fish caught
per hour, especially trout and salmon. Here you'll find the greatest opportunity to catch all
speciesofcohosalmon,rainbowtrout,kingsalmon,browntrout,andlaketrout.Contactthe

A few of the 115 units at the Best Western Executive Inn (7220 122nd Ave., 262/
857-7699,$89)aremultiroompatiosuites.Expectsolidamenitieshere.Serviceisgenerally
quite good as well.
You'll get great views at the Best Western Harborside Inn (5125 6th Ave., 262/
658-3281, $109-199), right on the lake. It was undergoing a remodeling at time of writing,
and the plans looked smashing.
