the development of better and less costly fossil-fuel-free
sources. Large hydroelectric dams are useful in some parts
of the world. There are enough fuel reserves already
known for nuclear reactors to last for thousands of years,
and enough in the sea to last for tens of thousands of years
if economic extraction systems can be developed. The
focus for now should be on pushing the development of
all systems that can give the world a safe and effective
energy supply that is free of greenhouse gas emissions.
