The success of these design principles resulted in WS-PGRADE/gUSE beca-
ming one of the leading science gateway frameworks in Europe. WS-PGRADE/
gUSE is actively used by more than 30 science communities and several com-
mercial companies. WS-PGRADE/gUSE is open-source software based on an
Apache license and can be freely downloaded from SourceForge (SF 2014).
