You'll find lots of information about ferry services on the internet and many of the lar-
ger ferry companies also have their own sites. Always check with online schedules, oper-
ators or travel agencies for up-to-the-minute information. Ferry companies often have
local offices on many of the islands; see the relevant destination chapter for details of
these as well as small, local ferries and caïques.
