Nea Hora Beach

Hania's in-town beach is only a 10-minute walk west of the Venetian Har-
bour. The half-kilometre-long yellow-sand strip is backed by tavernas, small markets and
holiday apartment rentals. Fairly shallow, it's good for kids and popular with locals on

branch to get the scoop on various outdoor sports, including serious climbing in the Le-

Eight kilometres south of town, near Varypetro, this
giant waterpark has enough pools, slides and rides to keep kids' tempers cool, along with
cafes and pool bars for adults. Buses leave regularly from the bus station.
