rooms. Ask for a balcony and a sea view. Galini is opposite the blue-domed local church
(Byzantine Museum), on the main road into town from Parikia.

word, this place is lovely. Recently renovated rooms are classy and pristine, with wooden
furniture and crisp linens. Each room has phenomenal views and every convenience, in-
cluding a first-rate kitchenette. Service is stellar.

This is quite
easily Naoussa's most stylish hotel. Stone, wood and wicker make the rooms aesthetic-
ally pleasing and calm. Just back from the water, all rooms have sea views and suites
sleep four. The pool is a narrow slice of blue and the verandah is a peaceful escape. Ser-
vice is discreet.
Eating & Drinking
Beyond the harbour, there's a beachfront line of cafes and music bars with cool lounge
decor worthy of Mykonos. Places like
Fotis
and
Briki
spill out onto little beaches and
play a mix of classical strands by day and jazzier, funkier sounds by night.

ocean, it's not surprising that this place specialises in seafood. Try steamed mussels and
grilled calamari, or dig into orzo pasta with shrimp or black risotto with cuttlefish. The
wine list is almost as novel.

This menu will inspire your appetite.
Haddock stuffed with tomato and herbs, crispy bread with eggplant salad and pastas,
pizza and risottos with a Greek slant are all as good as they sound. The atmosphere is
