dreoniki Travel ( 22980 54007) , up the lane to the right of the Alpha Bank.
Freedom ( 69442 42141; www.hydralines.gr ) runs between Hydra and Metohi (little
more than a car park) on the mainland (€6.50, 10 minutes, hourly, schedule posted on
quay).

Getting Around
Generally, people get around Hydra by walking.
In summer, caïques from Hydra Town go to the island's beaches. Water taxi (

Donkey owners clustered around the port charge €10 to €15 to transport your bags to
your hotel. Quick donkey rides around the port cost about €10 per person.
