Eating
Just 100m up from the dock, Souvlaki Sq is perfect for a quick bite of
gyros
or souvlakia
(cubes of meat on skewers). Skopelos is known for a variety of plum-based recipes and
most tavernas will have one or two on the menu.
Nastas Ouzerie

At the ring road junction, Nastas serves excellent mezed-
hes, meat grills and fresh fish entrees, along with worthy house wines and, of course,
tsi-
pouro
(distilled spirit similar to to ouzo). A favourite among loyal locals for both quality
and price.
Taverna Klimataria
TAVERNA $
(mains €5.50-10)
One of a cluster of fine tavernas near the end of the quay, and excellent
for point-and-eat
mayirefta
dishes and good grills come evening time.
