Picturesque Limni's maze of whitewashed houses and narrow lanes spill onto a cosy har-
bour speckled with cafes and tavernas. The town's old-fashioned folk museum (

waterfront.
The 16th-century Convent of Galataki ( 9am-noon & 5-8pm) , 9km southeast of
Limni above a narrow coastal road, is home to a coterie of six nuns and a fine fresco in
its katholikon (principal church), the Entry of the Righteous into Paradise .

juice).
