The classic spa resort of Loutra Edipsou has therapeutic sulphur waters, celebrated since
antiquity. Famous skinny-dippers have included Aristotle, Plutarch and Sylla. Today, the

beach (Paralia Loutron) heats up year-round thanks to the thermal waters that spill into
