excellent eatery is great for a lazy beachside lunch or dinner, with stuffed goat the signa-
ture dish. Steps lead from the restaurant patio directly to the sea.
Ta Delfinia SEAFOOD $
(fish €7-12; 7am-1am) Island native Manolis Thirianos offers some of Psara's best sea-
food at this psarotaverna (fish taverna) on the central waterfront.
Idrahos CAFE, BAR
(snacks €2-4; 10am-midnight) Snappy waterfront cafe open all day, with all variety of
drinks, plus grilled cheese sandwiches.

Getting There & Away
In Chios Town, buy tickets to Psara from Hatzelenis Tours ( Click here ) ; in Mesta, con-
tact Masticulture Ecotourism Activities ( Click here ) . Ferries reach Psara from both Chios
Town (€12 return, three hours, six weekly) and from Mesta (€7, 1½ hours, three weekly).
Getting Around
Neither car nor motorbike hire is available on Psara, and no taxi either, so you may want
to consider bringing your own transport with you, or ferrying a hire car or motorbike
from Chios. Hitchhiking is common on the island.
