tractive and well-managed mid-sized hotel (25 rooms). Rooms are large and cheerful,
most with sea views. It's 200m west of the small bridge.
Atsachas Rooms HOTEL $

sachas has clean, well-furnished rooms, some with sophisticated kitchens and most have
breezy, sea-view balconies. The cafe spills down to the lovely garden, where a stairway
descends to the beach.
Armenistis View HOTEL $

these five studio apartments below the road about 30m before the bridge, with kit-
chenettes and roomy sea-view verandas.
Villa Dimitri APARTMENTS $

Mar-Oct; ) This assortment of six secluded apartments, each one blue and
white with wood and stone touches, and set on a cliff amid colourful flowers, is managed
by a welcoming Greek-German couple. It's 800m west of Armenistis and requires a min-
imum stay of one week.

Pashalia Taverna TAVERNA $

katsikaki (kid goat) or veal in a clay pot are specialities at this, the first taverna along the
Armenistis harbour road. The father-and-son owners, Haris and Vasilis, also have three
apartments above the taverna.
Thea TAVERNA $
(Nas; mains €5-9) One of several fine tavernas in Nas, Thea's serves up excellent mezed-
hes, meat grills and a perfect vegie mousakas (baked layers of eggplant or zucchini,
minced meat and potatoes topped with cheese sauce) . Good barrel wine and local tsi-
