Dodekanisos Seaways at the inter-island ferry quay. Local passenger and car ferries run
to Pothia on Kalymnos from Mastihari. For tickets, visit Fanos Travel & Shipping (
22420 20035; www.kostravel.gr ; 11 Akti Kountourioti, Kos Town) on the harbour. It also runs a
hydrofoil to Bodrum (return €25), Nisyros (return €25), Patmos (return €40), Rhodes (re-
turn €50) and Symi (return €40).
In summer, daily excursion boats leave at 8.30am from Kos Town to Bodrum in Turkey
(return €25, one hour), and return at 4pm.

Getting Around
TO/FROM THE AIRPORT
The airport ( 22420 51229) is 24km southwest of Kos Town. Kefalos-bound buses stop
at the big roundabout near the airport entrance. An airport bus leaves from the town's bus
station (€3.20) several times per day. A taxi from the airport to Kos Town costs around
€30.
