Tables spill out onto the narrow harbour and by night the atmosphere is special - just

Aegean white and blue restaurant occupies a tasteful spot in which to work through a
seafood-heavy offering of fresh lobster, squid, octopus and Symi shrimp, all fired up on

Radio Cafe CAFE $
(breakfast & snacks €7; ) Other than internet access, this cafe makes a mean coffee
and dishes up filling breakfasts, light snacks and pizzas as classical music plays. Sunset
views are thrown in for free and it's run by a welcoming couple.
Mediteraneo TAVERNA $
( breakfast, lunch & dinner; ) Up the hill in the midst of Kastellorizo village, this
spacious restaurant is open from June through September and makes for a peaceful spot
to enjoy stifadho octopus, cabbage leaf dolmadhes and an ever-changing menu of spe-
cials to keep your taste buds on their toes.
Faros Bar BAR
( 9am-late; ) In an enviable position by the old lighthouse, this is a great spot to
swim in the turquoise shallows then take breakfast, drinking up wide-screen views of
Turkey and Kastellorizo village. Salads and snacks throughout the day and come 6pm,
tapas.
Information
The quay is at the southern side of the bay. The central square, Plateia Ethelondon Kas-
tellorizou, abuts the waterfront almost halfway round the bay, next to the yachting jetty.
The settlements of Horafia and Mandraki are reached by ascending the wide steps at the
east side of the bay.
