good for 360°. Penston Road/Londay Road good skyline except
N-W, and summer sunrise behind pylons.
4. Tollcross Park. Good skyline from mound overlooking football
area. Houses close due east.
5. Queen's Park. Like Kelvingrove: most events can be seen but not
from same point.

winter set behind flats. Leave site for kids.

8. Glenmuir Drive. Area hopeless.
9. Priesthill Road. No chance.
10. Bellahouston Park. By Exhibition monument all solar, lunar align-

13. Knowetap Street. Midsummer sunrise, set, Moon furthest north;
view to east for different star?
14. Maryhill Road. Near Glasgow University Observatory. Good pos-

15. Dawsholm Park. Arcs to south and west, no north and east.
16. Garscadden Wood. High but lots of trees. From path could have
distant settings, using flats etc. as foresights.
17. Lochgoin Avenue. No Midsummer sunrise. Good arc for rest in
south. Ground not flat.
18. Inchfad Drive. No Midsummer sunrise - probably all rest. Sirius
doubtful. East obscured.
