The ski-season admission fee is $40 per car per day, and $15 for bus passengers (this may
be included in your fare). Lift tickets (peak) per adult/student/child cost $115/95/55.
Passes are cheaper in September and there are packages that include gear hire and lessons.
Lift tickets also cover Falls Creek.

Getting There & Around
Mt Hotham is 360km northeast of Melbourne. By car, take the Hume Hwy to Wangaratta,
then follow the Great Alpine Rd to Mt Hotham.
During the ski season, Snowball Express ( 1800 659 009, 03-9370 9055; www.snowballexpress.com.au )
has daily buses from Melbourne to Mt Hotham ($160 return, six hours), via Wangaratta,
Myrtleford, Bright and Harrietville.
O'Connell's Bus Lines ( 0428 591 377; www.omeobus.com.au ) operates an 'Alps Link' service
between Omeo and Bright ($11) via Mt Hotham ($5.40) and Dinner Plain ($4.40) daily in
summer.
A free shuttle runs frequently around the Mt Hotham resort from 7am to 3am; a separ-
ate shuttle service also operates to Dinner Plain. The free 'zoo cart' takes skiers from their
lodges to the lifts between 8am and 6pm.
