Sights & Activities
Lakes Entrance is all about the beach and boating. A long footbridge crosses the Cunning-
hame Arm inlet from the east of town to the ocean and Ninety Mile Beach. From Decem-
ber to Easter, paddle boats, canoes and sailboats can be hired by the footbridge on the
ocean side. This is also where the Eastern Beach Walking Track (2.3km, 45 minutes) starts, tak-
ing you through coastal scrub to the entrance itself.
To explore the lakes, three companies along Marine Pde (on the back-side of the town
centre) offer boat hire OFFLINE MAP GOOGLE MAP (hire per 1/4/8hr $50/90/150) .
On the Princes Hwy on the western side of town is Kalimna Lookout OFFLINE MAP

view of the ocean and inlet (and a quieter location), take the road directly opposite to
Jemmy's Point Lookout OFFLINE MAP GOOGLE MAP .
