you're certain to see koalas chewing on eucalyptus leaves or dozing away - they sleep
about 20 hours a day!
Churchill Island

10am-5pm) Churchill Island, connected to Phillip Island by a bridge near Newhaven, is a
working farm where Victoria's first crops were planted. There's a historic homestead and
garden, and pleasant walking tracks looping around the island.
Seal Rocks
& the Nobbies

The Nobbies are a couple of large, craggy, offshore rocks at the island's southwestern tip.
Beyond them are Seal Rocks, which are inhabited by Australia's largest fur-seal colony.
The Nobbies Centre OFFLINE MAP ( 03-5951 2852; www.penguins.org.au ; 11am-1hr before sunset)
offers great views over the Nobbies and the 6000 distant Australian fur seals that
sun themselves there. You can view the seals from boardwalk binoculars or use the
centre's underwater cameras ($5). The centre also has some fascinating interactive exhib-
its, a kids games room and a cafe.
PHILLIP ISLAND
NATURE PARK
The Phillip Island Nature Park incorporates four of the island's biggest attractions: the Penguin Parade, the Nob-
bies, Koala Conservation Centre and Churchill Island. A Three Parks Pass (the Nobbies Centre is free) costs
$40.40/20.20/101 per adult/child/family, or you can buy tickets for each attraction individually. Passes are avail-
