views from its timber verandah, though most rooms are small and old-style with shared
bathrooms down the hall - the rooms with bathrooms are more spacious. Across the road,

gendary Hotel Sorrento is well known as a pub and restaurant but it also has some slick
accommodation. The motel-style Heritage and Garden suites are modern and well appoin-
ted, but the On the Hill apartments are the ones to go for, with airy living spaces, spacious
bathrooms, private balconies, spas and bay views. The hotel has its own spa centre.

Eating & Drinking
Sorrento's main street, Ocean Beach Rd, has most of the town's cafes and restaurants,
with tables and chairs spilling out along the footpaths in summer. The town's three pubs,
the historic Hotel Sorrento, Continental Hotel and Koonya Hotel are all good places for a
meal or drink, and all have live music in summer.
