Loads of helpful maps and friendly staff. There's also a replica of
the famous Welcome Stranger gold nugget here, and internet access and a library in the
same complex.
Getting There & Away
The passenger train to Maryborough finally resumed in 2010. Currently there's only one
direct train a day from Melbourne. You can also go via Geelong, Ballarat or Castlemaine
by bus.
