ings (the 1908 Royal Bank), Whirrakee has a French-influenced menu featuring dishes
such as gorgonzola souffle, with some surprises such as spiced kangaroo salad. Down-
stairs there's a small wine bar with cosy sofas, and there's live music in the gold-weighing
room on Friday night.

1952 Melbourne W-class tram becomes a rolling restaurant, with a set menu including
four courses and free drinks - a great way to see the city.

Drinking & Entertainment
Bendigo has a lively nightlife - uni nights are Tuesday and Thursday. Although some
clubs remain open as late as 5am, all have a 2am lockout. The main nightlife zone is Bull
St and along Pall Mall. Many restaurants, including Wine Bank, the Dispensary Enoteca
and Whirrakee, segue easily into classy wine bars after the kitchen closes.

on tap, Puggs has a thickly welcoming atmosphere, not unreasonable door staff, a beer
