Although
this isn't really a brewery, it might as well be with 19 beers to choose from. But it's the
food that really wins plaudits, with dishes such as cheese souffle and crispy-skinned snap-
per fillet in a lavender-infused broth.
Drinking & Entertainment
With its large student population, Ballarat has a lively nightlife. There are some fine old
pubs around town but most of the entertainment is centred on Lydiard St and the nearby
Camp St precinct.

The Guinness flows freely at this atmospheric Irish pub. It's a welcoming place and
the live music draws people of all ages. There's nothing too sophisticated about it all, but
