noon tea $12) at 2pm each Saturday or by appointment, which takes in the town's historic
buildings. Golfers can have a scenic hit at Queenscliff Golf Club ( 03-5258 1951;
www.queenscliffgolfclub.com.au ) on rugged Swan Island and cyclists can hire bicycles from Big4
Beacon Resort ( 03-5258 1133; www.beaconresort.com.au ; 78 Bellarine Hwy; bike hire half-/full day $15/25) .

Mon-Fri) While this education centre is primarily aimed at school children, it's still worth
popping in to have a gawk at the local species that live under the sea, with tanks contain-
ing the deadly blue ring octopus, seahorses, fish and a touch pool where you can handle
slimy creatures.
