pire. Within an old red-brick wool mill and kitted out in an industrial warehouse feel, this
is a cracking place to sample its brews with a thin-crust pizza (from $17). Tours of the
brewery operate a few times a day and include free tastings. Kids will love the sandboxes
and room to run around.

Cartel Roasters

find in South Geelong's industrial backstreets, this hipster-haven coffeehouse roasts a
range of African single-origins, to go with a menu of dude food. Tea lovers will be
equally delighted with a refined tearoom serving leaves from around the world, set up by
a certified 'tea master'.

Pier's redevelopment (partly funded by ex-Cats captain Cameron Ling) has brought a res-
taurant, cafe and boutique bar to this stunning location. Climb the sweeping steps to CQ,
and check out its smart fit-out and cocktail and tapas menus. Oh, and the view, which you
can't miss.
