dustrial street off Pakington St, Boom's warehouse space in an old wool mill shows con-
temporary works by Melbourne and local artists. It sells great design objects and jew-

The 1851 Botanic Gardens are a peaceful place for a stroll or picnic. The '21st-century'
garden at the entrance features indigenous plants from across Australia. It houses the great

Narana Creations

quay in Grovedale, on Geelong's far outskirts, this Aboriginal cultural centre has didgeri-
doo performances (or play it yourself), a boomerang-throwing gallery and a native garden.
Daily tours are at 11am and 2pm, and its gift shop sells indigenous books and music.
