A 10-minute drive from Trentham is the tiny hamlet of Blackwood surrounded by state
forest, which also has plenty of charm.
Two to four buses run daily to Trentham from Woodend station ($4, 22 minutes) en
route to Daylesford.

Trentham Falls
Situated in the Wombat State Forest and just a short drive from the Trentham township is
one of Victoria's highest single-drop waterfalls - the Coliban River cascades 32m over a
sheer face of basalt rock.

Domino Trail
This walking trail follows the old Trentham railway through the Wombat State Forest, the
habitat of the endangered powerful owl. Trail maps are available from the tourist office (
