The Last Laugh is open Friday and Saturday nights year-
round, with additional evenings in summer. This is professional stand-up, featuring local
and international artists. Dinner-show packages ($55) are available - bookings recommen-
ded. The club is also a venue for acts during the Comedy Festival.

every night of the week here. Admission prices vary, but are usually between $15 and
$25. Dinner and show nights are popular and feature Melbourne's best-known comedians
(many of whom also host radio shows). Tuesday is a kind of open-mic night, where aspir-
ing comics have their eight minutes of fame (or shame).
