hulk of the George Hotel, tucked away off Grey St, this little bar is a good rabbit hole to
dive into. Its pleasantly ad-hoc decor is a relief from the inch-of-its-life design aesthetic
elsewhere. There are DJs (and queues) on the weekends.

old-school Brooklyn bar. Prop up to its dark-wood polished bar and scratch your head to
decide which one of its 19 craft beers on tap or its impressive bottle list to order. There's a
beer garden upstairs, while downstairs has chesterfield couches, an open fire and indoor
bocce pit. It's also known for its live comedy nights.

Pause has been around for over a decade and draws a loyal local
crowd who like to settle into the dim North African-inspired bar for cocktails (two for
