off Smith St, Rosamond's tiny interior is a warm haven for the local freelance creative
crew who like their daily rations simple but well considered. And that they are: free-range
eggs only come scrambled, but with first-rate toast and fresh sides, and there's soup,
toasties, baguettes, salads and cupcakes.

Croxton) Run by a French-trained chef who did her apprenticeship under Stephanie Al-
exander, cafe-style UAE has delicious Middle Eastern shared plates served with an easy-
going attitude. It's big on local produce and everything is homemade, from dips to its cin-
ammon ice cream. Also has a good selection of Lebanese and Turkish beers.

bidding facade may have you second-guessing what kind of place this is, but within is a
popular cafe set up by owners of impecable pedigree (courtesy of Vue du Monde and
Jacques Reymond). Expect yabby-tail omelettes for breakfast and soft-shell-crab burgers
for lunch, and elaborate mains. There's excellent coffee here, too.
