The nuns are long gone at this former convent, which
dates back to 1861, so don't worry, no one will ask if you've been to Mass lately. Today
its rambling collection of ecclesiastic architecture is home to a thriving arts community of
galleries, studios, cafes and bars, spread over nearly 7 hectares of riverside land. Tours of
the complex are run at 2pm every Sunday.
There's a Slow Food Market every fourth Saturday, a clothes market (
