Visiting the Cathedral:
Near the entrance is the tomb and memorial to
scientist Carolus Linnaeus, who created the formal system for naming differ-
ent species of plants and animals. Farther into the church you'll find the gor-
geously carved, gold-slathered Baroque pulpit, and the transept where today's
services take place. Look high above in the choir area (beyond the transept)
to enjoy fine murals that gleam, thanks to a major restoration of the church in
the 1970s.
