Cathedral (Storkyrkan):
Just before the church, you'll see my per-
sonal phone booth (Rikstelefon) and the gate to the churchyard—guarded by
statues of Caution and Hope. Enter the yellow-brick church—Stockholm's
oldest, from the 13th century (40 kr, free on Sun; open daily mid-May-mid-
Sept 9:00-18:00, until 16:00 off-season; worthwhile included English-lan-
guage flier describes the interior). Signs explain events (busy with tours and
services in summer).
