Balestrand's key advantage is its easy express-boat connection to Bergen, of-
fering an alternative route to the fjord from the typical Nutshell train-bus
combo. Consider zipping here on the Bergen boat, then continuing on via the
Nutshell route.
One night is enough to get a taste of Balestrand. But two nights buy you
