Art Museum is at the western edge of downtown, the Den Gamle By open-
air folk museum is a bit farther to the northwest, and the Moesgård Museum
(prehistory—and closed for renovation until 2014) is in the countryside far to
the south.

no office and no telephone number; to fill the gap, the local tourist board has
installed computer kiosks that access the TI website in various hotel lobbies
around town. But if you have a question, try asking your hotelier or other
helpful locals. Hotels sell the
Aarhus Card,
which provides small discounts
onmajorsightsandfreeentrytosomeminorsights,andincludespublictrans-
portation. This can be a money-saver for busy sightseers (129 kr/1 day, 179
kr/2 days).
