soup-kitchen-size bowl made of silver was found in a Danish bog, but its sym-
bolism suggests it was originally from Thrace (in northeast Greece) or Celtic
Ireland. On the sides, hunters slay bulls, and gods cavort with stags, horses,
dogs, and dragons. It's both mysterious and fascinating.
