receiving a Transport-Command, this new information is taken into
account by the repeatedly executed Plan-effector and the worker-agent
starts moving directly to the specified origin. Upon arrival at the
origin, it picks up the article (either from an incoming platform or
a storage location), and moves to the designated destination. At
the destination, the worker-agent puts the transported article down
(either to a storage location or to an outgoing platform). Afterwards,
the worker-agent moves to a randomly chosen location within the
warehouse and waits for new commands.
Micro-level: Forklifts
Essentially, forklifts are modeled in the same way as workers i.e., they
are capable of the same actions and exhibit the same behavior. The
