Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals
Mayor Mike has ambitious plans to make us a no-kill city (we're on track
for a 2015 happy conclusion to that story). To that end, his alliance connects low-income residents with low-cost
spaying and neutering services. If you're in the pet market, the alliance puts on a series of adoption festivals, in-
cluding the annual

spring blowout. In addition to spontaneously
falling for an unclaimed cur there, you can hook up your current pets with microchips at a special $25 rate.
Mobile microchipping clinics also pay visits to all five boroughs with that same $25 deal. For citywide pet ser-
