Bela Krajina is justly celebrated for its wines. The Metlika wine region produces ruby
reds and sweet whites, which can be sampled in the many vineyards and farmhouses.

The Krka and Kolpa river valleys wend their way through this region, and are particularly
good for rafting, with plenty of hiking and cycling opportunities beyond their banks.
