Network coverage amounts to more than 95% of the country. Mobile numbers carry the

Slovenia uses GSM 900, which is compatible with the rest of Europe and Australia but
not with the North American GSM 1900 or the Japanese system. SIM cards with €5 credit
are available for around €15 from SiMobil ( www.simobil.si ) , Mobitel ( www.mobitel.si )
and Tušmobil ( www.tusmobil.sil ) . Top-up scratch cards are available at post offices,
newsstands and petrol stations.

Time
Slovenia lies in the Central European time zone. Winter time is GMT plus one hour while
in summer it's GMT plus two hours. Clocks are advanced at 2am on the last Sunday in
March and set back at the same time on the last Sunday in October.
