Gay & Lesbian Travellers
Slovenia has no sodomy laws. There's a national gay rights law in place that bans discrim-
ination in employment and other areas on the basis of sexual preference, and homosexuals
are allowed in the military. In recent years a highly visible campaign against homophobia
has been put in place across the country. Outside Ljubljana, however, there is little eviden-
ce of a gay presence, much less a lifestyle.
