Arguably the best restaurant in Ptuj, the Angler Inn faces the river, with
an enormous terrace, and the speciality here is - not surprisingly - fish, especially herbed
and baked pike perch, or sander. The seafood soup served in a bread-loaf bowl is excep-
tional. There's live Slovenian music some nights.
