Boat
There is a daily service from Portorož to Trieste from May to September.
Bus
Buses leave Portorož for Koper (€2.30, 25 minutes) and Izola (€1.80, 15 minutes)
about every 30 minutes throughout the year. Other destinations include Ljubljana (€13.20,
3¼ hours), Nova Gorica (€10.30, three hours) and a long distance bus to Murska Sobota
(€30, eight hours) via Maribor and Celje. There are plentiful local buses to Sečovlje (€2,
25 minutes) and Strunjan (€1.30, 15 minutes) throughout the day.
Minibuses make the loop from the Lucija campgrounds through central Portorož to Pir-
an throughout the year.
