hostels is here. It has five doubles and three rooms with three to four beds over four floors
in an ancient (and rather frayed) town house on a narrow street. Diagonally opposite is
Alibi B14 Offline map Google map (Bonifacijeva ulica 14; per person €20-22) , a more up-
beat four-floor party place with seven rooms, each with two to four beds and bath. There's
also a washing machine. More subdued is Alibi T60 Offline map Google map (Trubarjeva
ulica 60; per person €25; ) to the east with fully equipped doubles (TV, fridge and
bathroom) on each of five floors served by a vintage wooden staircase.
Eating
One of Piran's attractions is its plethora of fish restaurants, especially along Prešernovo
nabrežje. Most cater to the tourist trade and are rather overpriced.

Piran is the best waterfront seafood restaurant and is worth patronising. It has the strip's
best decor and sea views.

thing to be more popular with locals than tourists, and this family-run place hits all the
buttons - a friendly welcome, big seafood platters (as well as meat dishes and salads), and
a good-value daily two-course set lunch (you might want to wrap up with mama's dessert
though).
